At Twine Theory, we believe nature is never just decoration.
It has movement. Texture. Tension. Rhythm. A vine climbing across a wall. A branch bending into space. A stem placed slightly off-centre. A table that feels gathered, not arranged.
We work with flowers, foliage, vines, raw materials and natural forms to create spaces that feel alive, intentional and deeply atmospheric.
Our work is not about filling a space. It is about giving the space a feeling.

Concept first, materials second, and never a stem placed without a reason.
Two have spent years with their hands in flowers. The other two have spent theirs on the other side of a business — growing it, building the brand, keeping the wheels turning. We kept arriving at the same thought from different directions: the rooms people remember aren’t the ones with the most flowers. They’re the ones where someone stopped to ask how it should feel to walk in.
That question is the theory. The twine is everything after it — the stems chosen because they bend the right way, the branch left a little wild, the table kept low enough that people can still see each other across it. We love flowers. We just don’t think they’re the whole story.
We’re based in Penang, and we’re new — we opened in 2026. Right now that means every wedding, dinner and installation we take on gets all four of us, properly. If you’d like to see what that looks like, start with a conversation.

Our studio is in Penang, where we make florals to order and plan every project. Weddings, installations and tables take us further — we travel across Malaysia, and quote travel and accommodation per project.
